Last item from Ghost:

Thanksgiving snuck up fast on us this year. We're keeping it simple here in Austin with a turkey and these sides:

Mixed green salad with pomegranate and sweet potato

This easy dressing of olive oil, lemon, garlic, and salt quickly blended with the immersion blender was a big hit.

Butternut squash puree

Simple, non-starch substitute for mashed potatoes. We almost fooled 'em.

Whole cranberry sauce

Doubled this recipe and replaced the maple syrup with honey. Just this side of too sweet.

Challah, mushroom and celery stuffing

After following these instructions to a tee, I'd reduce the amount of liquid by about half and actually not bother to let the challah sit out for a whole two days – it just turned into a soppy mess in the middle, though the top was crispy and delicious.

Apple crisp

I ended up combining this recipe with soaking advice from the Food Lab, which resulted in a very sweet, soft apple crisp. Next time, I'll stick to my old trusty crisp recipe.
