fixes broken extensions and mysterious CCL bug
adds tests for the third chapter of the manual

Tested on CCL, ECL, and SBCL. One test fails – manual claims that one function returns a string, while it returns octet array (where elements are not necessarily characters). Probably documentation mistake.

The authorization data for MIT Magic Cookie is an octet. It may be a string in another authorization mechanism (I don't know if that is the case, I have only researched the MIT Magic cookie one as it is the only I use and have encountered).
