Make it KDE independant #39

It would be great to make it independent of KDE. I would love to use this application, test it ans probably even help a little in the development, but please first make it independent so that I can at least test it. I don't use KDE. I use Mate and Gnome 3.

You shouldn't need KDE to test it. While you may need Qt or other dependancies, it shouldn't be reliant on KDE. Have you tried installing it/building it on your system?
