black screen after start since rc2 #101

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. install the program by hand 
2. start it with the icon
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
i expect the start page (in, draft, out) but i get a black screen!

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Version is isms-1.0-rc2-snapshot-05212243 (same problem as with every rc2
version) on fw 114

Please provide any additional information below.
There was a thread about this problem with the conclusion that the database
was corrupt but no hint how to fix this. But this database works fine with
the original sms app and the isms versions before rc2!?
So i use the rc1 version and rename and copy the new isms and lib files to
the isms dir and create links to test them. 
There is allways at last one unread message on the isms icon and the 1
never disapers and starting isms by touching the icon i get only a black
screen and nothing in the log.
Starting isms from the console does nothing on the (iphone)screen but at
last i get this log

what do i have to fix in the database to make it work with rc2 (i have
compared an empty sms database and mine but could not fine any thing wrong)

PS
in isms-1.0-rc2-snapshot-04221718 the installer routine seems to have a
typo so it adds a : to the begining of the path in the plist file and the
phone hangs after reboot. I did not check that for the newest version as i
just link the newer files.

Looks like the unread message count is > 0 but there're no unread messages left 
indeed.

No idea about the problem cause but you can remove your sms.db(backup if you 
want)
and re-run the MobileSMS to generate a new one, then your problem should gone.

yes i have tried that and it works, but then i loose all my sms and i don't 
want that. 
If you can not find anything wrong with isms i will make a fresh db and try to 
fill
all my sms with a sqlite editor. Maybe this will work then.
Btw can you make the source for the rc2 release avaiable so i could give it a 
try myself?

got it to work :)
i have deleted the message_flags_index _and_ the message_groups_index from the
database and isms recreated them. Now it works!
