program will not recoginize new contacts, cannot send, keep getting "please check recipient's name"

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. if you add a new member
2. try sending to that contact, it will not let you. only will 
say: "please check recipients name"
3. will only work if you enter the actual number

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

i should see "message sending, message sent" - but i keep seeing: "please 
check recipients name"

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

version 1222 on 1.1.1

Maybe a stupid question, but:
Where do I put the file the download link in issue 16 gives me? Which file do I
replace with it?
