Hebrew messages not shown correctly #36

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Entering INBOX and watch the headers of Unicode (Hebrew) SMS
2. Entering specific message will turn over the letters left to right
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The expected output will be the message as it shown at the header

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
b1228

Please provide any additional information below.
I've attached 2 screenshots, showing specific message
as it shown at the header and when entering to it.

I know what he talking about it is the same Issue 35
Because Arabic is like Hebrew, Both read from right to left..
Also you have to know that Hebrew use a third party program to reverse there
message
so they can use it on the native SMS program.. and on his case he see it good on
header because they already reverse, and he did not see right it when he enter
the
message because you read it with iSMS right , but he damaged his message by
reverse
it using third party program..

So if you solver your program by making the header on the INBOX list, read in
the
same way you read when i click on the message this will solver out problem

LOL :) I am the owner of iPhoneIslam..
This program you saw in iPhoneIslam web page detects new SMS on the database
file and
reverse the letters so it show right on the MobileSMS.. (And sure will not show
right
in your program if I reverse the letters) but with your program we do not need
that
because your program display Arabic & Hebrew and every unicode right but when I
see
the message on the INBOX list it dose not show it on the same way it show it on
the
MobileSMS way..

So I thought you have a way to display unicode char and you can do the same on
the
INBOX list, this would be amazing..

Someone told me that 1.1.2 is unicode ready while 1.1.1 is not.. and he was
able to
make his phone 100% Arabic check www.ifone4arab.com ..

He do not want tell us how he did it.. all what he said it is already on 1.1.2
and
just need to be activated, even he said that iPhone 1.1.2 have Islamic Dates and
Chinese Dates ready..

I tried but I am not good iPhone hacker..
