I created the log file as described in the wiki page and nothing being recorded.

this is a common problem with almost all SMS applications. The number
associated
with the message is correct but the displayed name is wrong. I know that
because
when I hit the call button the actual sender is being called.

I think the problem you have is when you display the name of the sender you
only
search using the last 6~7 digits and since the differenc between the two
numbers is
in the second digit (excluding the +966 international key) you only get the
first
match.

This problem was in the iPhone sms application until version 1.1.3. In 1.1.4 I
see
it is fixed.

hope this helps you determine the problem. I am not interested in fixing this
problem because it is not that important to me but just wanted help you. I only
use
your application because it displays Arabic messages correctly and not
backwards
like the original iPhone application.

P.S. the numbers are in the format +966 (5) ######## so our mobile numbers are
eight
digits.

I live in Argentina and have the same problem as Kahokail.
The original SMS iPhone app displays the contact names every time I send and
receive
SMSs, but when I open iSMS the numbers are displayed like +54911#####. Like
Kahokail
when I receive the SMS notification the contact name is displayed as when I
push the
CALL button.
I think the problem here is that local numbers are formated like +5411########
(+ 8
digits local phone number) and cellular phones are +54911. It seams that the
carrier
ads the "9" in the cellular number and you evaluate the entire number with
+54911
included to compare it with our contacts numbers and we usually store the
numbers
like 11#### (whitout the +549).

I hope this can help and be fixed, because it's a terrific app and I would
really
like to use it as default if this can be fixed.

I'm using an 1.1.4FW jailbreaked with Ziphone!

Best!!!

Many of my contacts show as numbers only, not names. This does not occur in the
native SMS app.

Me: 1.1.1-1.1.4 Ziphoned, AppSupport patched & International (Australia)
