GUI - Spatial tab not cleaning up tree properly #802

It seems closing the ~View Labels~ Spatial tab is not cleaning up some of its references properly.

Subsequently changing the selected tree is triggering tree display updates, and this causes serious lags when the trees are large and take a long time to plot.
