As of today we have no plans to add support for relational databases to the
Fortress product line. You can however follow the same pattern as was used
for this application. You can use Tomcat JDBC realm (for the Java EE
security part) and map the fortress api calls in this app to your database
using JDBC, Spring or whatever you are comfortable with.
