The names in this PR are to be exposed by https://gitlab.haskell.org/ghc/ghc/merge_requests/2654 which should be 8.8.12.1 on wards. In the meantime, we provide definitions for them here. See https://github.com/ndmitchell/hlint/issues/587 for motivation.
