Connects made with SSHTunnel widget fail

---What steps will reproduce the problem?
1 AutoConnect = on
2 Connection initiated using SSHTunnel widget displays Connection message, and 
then immediately disconnects.

* Connection initiated using using application connects

---What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
1. using widget : Connnection remains. Connection immediately marked as 
disconnected.
2. using Widget connection attempted only once or twice with AutoReconnect set.
3. using widget or directly the app, Tunnel disconnects permanently 
occasionally whilst changing networks (WIFI to 3G to WIFI ).

1.5.6
Andoird 4.2.2  CM 10.1-20130523-NIGHTLY-i9100

SSHTunnel connections always connects successfully with the target server.
The server logs should the user connecting, yet 1 second after the connection 
the logs note that SSHTunnel disconnected itself.

I should be grateful if someone would show me how to enable some logging within 
SSHTunnel.  I've lost mu usb cable so cannot run ADB with ease anymore.

I verify Simon's observation with android 2.3.4 and an openssh server. Server 
log says that client disconnected on its own.

Happened today again (v1.5.6) on android 2.3.6. Disconnecting and reconnecting 
the wifi fixed the problem.
