Glitch in Criteria Results Displays (upon changing a question's answer) #174

We were narrowing results in the Data Collection section (there were a few Red X's in the Full List) and realized that a question had to be changed from "Subsistence - local markets only" to "Artisanal-Commercial...". We went back and changed the questionnaire, and this change made many more results more available. However, when we saved the new answer and refreshed the results display, a display glitch occurred: green checks were displayed on previously X'ed out options, but these new green check options were still greyed out or hidden. -Serena/Jono Dec. 17th 2018 Callo de Hacha fishery

What's happening here is the hidden options were set as soon as the results review process was kicked off. The application can't distinguish between what options were hidden automatically based on criteria, and which were hidden manually by the users. So once they are set the application can't update them.

Giving the app the ability to distinguish between those states and toggle after revising like this would be pretty difficult.

For now, I think we can just be aware of this as FishPath users and trainers. If we change an answer and it removes the red x, it doesn't remove the "hiding", so we can find and bring back into the option pool. It sounds like there could be a fix for this, so we shouldn't close the issue, but not likely to be resolved in the next sprint.
