Whats up with this "new" version of your extension showing up in VS Code? It is pointing to your repo. image

The extension on the Marketplace 🤔
It's indeed unclear where the source is coming from and whether it's save to use it. I could not find the author on GitHub.

We also maintain a fork, but it does not try to pretend it's the original MPE.

Not sure. According to the metadata, the plugin has not been updated for a while:

Does not seem like someone new trying to mislead the audience. Perhaps, @shd101wyy has seen that plugin before and knows its background?
