No code assist in REPL #680

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Fire up some project and its REPL
2. Open a paren to write some code
3. Press CTRL-Space

Before version STABLE 31.1, a window with code assist was displayed to the
user. At the moment that window does not show up anymore.

I tried again with ccw/standalone (Eclipse Mars based) 0.30.0 upgrade to 0.31.1
on windows => working

I tried with an existing Eclipse (Eclipse Luna based) with plugin 0.30.0
upgraded to ccw 0.31.1 on linux => working

I retried on OS X from my development environment => working

What's weir, is that I think I remember having the problem during one of my
first tests. Maybe I did it too quickly, maybe there's some subtle state to be
into to get the issue.

My current version is: Kepler Service Release 2
Maybe that is the issue. I can of course upgrade.

Ok, installed a Kepler target and indeed there's a problem with code completion
in the editor.
Will try to fix it, since I think it's still a little bit too early to drop
Kepler support.
