what the problem? the shortcut Ctrl+D is working ok.

Oh, it was to have a more "intelligent" version of kill line, which for example 
would totally remove a multiline string if ends or starts in the current line, 
things like that (I don't have the details in my head, need to re-read the 
emacs paredit cheat sheet). But granted, that's not a priority at all => 
changing priority from medium to low
