Hey @mikedep333 - this is a good idea. I'm happy for the code that I wrote to be licensed under Apache 2.0, so this gets a :+1: from me.
I can't speak for the other previous contributors, though this project has changed a ton from the original version that was forked
CC: @L2G @vasanthela Do you approve of your contributions being licensed under the Apache 2.0 license?
I approve my contribution being licensed.
Oh, certainly, I approve. I didn't realize this had been forked. Do you want me to transfer ownership of the repo to you, @shedd?
Hey @L2G - nice to finally connect! Thanks for starting this project out - it was a big help to @vasanthela and myself.
Given that this has taken on some interest and now has some folks using it, I wonder if it would make sense to move this into the https://github.com/duckduckgo organization?
@malbin @mikedep333 - what do you think?
I agree that it should be moved. I am not sure what Jaryd Malbin's GitHub username is, I will mention this to him by email.
Also, note that I am developing the new version of DuckDuckHack VM under the duckduckhack-vm branch on my fork. (The old version was created manually by Jaryd.)
Sounds good. I'll merge this now and then we can figure out the migration of the repo.
I was talking with Jaryd. He and I agreed that we should specify a license. He and I agreed on Apache 2.0.
