Crashes when I click the boxes on the left to make a shop #382

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
NB: First check the wiki and existing issues!

What version of Procurement are you using? On what operating system?

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Open procurement and load stash tabs(tried both administrator and non
administrator crashed for both)
2.click the stash section of procurement
3.click any of the boxes on the left side of the screen to add the stash tabs
to make the shop.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The data from the tab to be displayed in the center window but crashes as soon
as it is clicked.

Please provide any additional information below.

Interesting, haven't seen this one before. Can you send me your .bin files, and
I can take a look to see what's causing the issue.

anything about computers!

Using v. 1.8.2 on Windows 8.1

I'm looking into this, it seems the hideout changes may be causing the issue.

I am having the same issue, when I click in the trading tab section and try to
make a normal post by clicking on the check boxes that indicate the tabs I want
in my shop, I get the same error. I only click on one of the check boxes and
this happens. i was using procurement 1.8.0 and thought i needed to upgrade to
the next version but it is happening with Procurement 1.8.2. Thank you for this
wonderful program. Have a great day.

If you're having this issue, please zip and attach your .bin files to this
issue so I can test.

Ok I think I've found the cause of this, can someone at least send me their
debuginfo.log so I can confirm.

Attaching debuginfo.log. Thanks for your hard work on this man :)

Thanks, can you zip and send me your .bin files, I need to see what in your
stash is causing the crash.

Attached. This started happening shortly after I started using the program in
the current leagues. Makes it completely unusable for generating the template
(happens with all tabs).

I've loaded up your bin files, and can select all tabs without any errors. Are
you only downloading specific tabs, or setting tabwide buyouts?

If so send me your settings.xml and buyouts.xml so I can load up with your
settings.

Both options crash it, selecting a single one or all. As a matter of fact when
trying to mess around with it now to get more specific steps even clicking the
"Trading" tab crashes it.

Some additional info - tried deleting my forum template after a few new error
messages appeared in debuginfo, didn't help. Still crashes on trading tab.
New file attached.

@drunkseraph, I can't replicate your bug. I can load up with your settings and
select all tabs, and your items are exported correctly with no errors.

If you're using a custom forum template, could you send it to me as well.

Original comment by stickymaddness on 15 Sep 2014 at 4:55

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
I am not using any custom forum template. After i unrar the program, the first
time it works. After that even without restarting it stops working (the trading
box). The bump works, the update button works.

This is proving to be a pain in the ass to fix. A few people have this issue
and have sent me their bin files, but I cannot replicate it.

I've released a second testing version, please test it out, most likely it will
stop the crashing but double check that your items are exported correctly.

If you have any further issues, please send me your updated debuginfo.log and
.bin files

The issue still persists, sadly.

Since it says i've exceeded the storage quota i am sending it via dropbox
public link:

@boris, your debuglog shows the error "The remote name could not be resolved:
'www.pathofexile.com'", an issue separate to the trading screen crash most
likely cause by your connection/firewall/router/antivirus

Original comment by stickymaddness on 20 Sep 2014 at 8:15

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
I am not using a firewall, and haven't changed the antivirus at all, nor does
it block any applications :/. The connection doesn't have issues either.

Procurement 1.8.5 has been released, which fixes this issue.

If you have further issues please log a new ticket with a fresh debuginfo.log
from 1.8.5
