german letter Errorfor the letters äöüß #9

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Add strings with german letters äöüß into the table which will be
searchable DB
2. Try to search to this strings
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
No DB Output

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Xampp 1.6.8a, CakePHP 1.2.0.

Please provide any additional information below.

I tried to develop a little dictionary, so i added 3 strings for testing
with the letter äü i make am output over the hole 5 Words. An example

The German Word häßlich is in my dictionary ugly. In my DB is the word so
written häßlich my settings of the Table is utf8-bin and varchar 255
In the search_index table is the word so written haesslich. The settings
are the same like in my table. The Error is that i can't search word with
this letters.

If you read the other issues, you'd see I posted exactly the same problem and
solution. Try reading

and in general, take the time to check other bug reports before adding one 
yourself.
