Can you check if it's not an issue with your mongodump
and mongorestore
versions? Can you try manually taking a backup using mongodump
and see if that works?
You can also use this script as a reference.
After a bit more research, it does seem like an issue with your mongodb
version. It looks like you're on MacOS Sierra using an older version of MongoDB and hence mongorestore
which depends on a go
runtime that's broken on Sierra:
Upgrading MongoDB should fix this:
brew upgrade mongodb
