是否仅需要修改 .obsidian\plugins\obsidian-annotator\data.json 下的 "customDefaultPath": "08-Assets/pdfs/", 为 "customDefaultPath": ".../other/dir",

当然可以。

这个应该属于历史遗留，因为在 zotero6.0 没出来之前，我尝试着在 obsidian 中阅读 pdf 并批注。
