Here are a few examples of sites that have nice tables of contents. I just wanted to put them out here - maybe we can discuss options next week. https://pankmagazine.com/issue/2 http://www.jellyfishmagazine.org/11/018/ http://www.bodegamag.com/issues/24 https://www.muzzlemagazine.com/summer-2019.html https://www.mcsweeneys.net/

Jeff and I met last week to talk about the technical implementation of the peak, and after lots of fighting with my computer, I've finally got wordpress running locally. This is really great because I can finally see the things that Jeff and I have been talking about and can see actual changes. I'm starting with some small changes before actually trying to actually do the peak to get a handle on things, and everything I've played with makes sense so far!

I forgot to do my reflection last week since we did not have class. But this past week I have been thinking about how many jobs Beth has. In our literary editing class, we have done so many different types of projects from marketing, copywriting, to reading submissions and it makes me wonder if other literary magazine function with a larger staff or if maybe eventually that Shenandoah will too. I suppose the size of the staff is based on the funding supplied by the university, but Shenandoah brings in an impressive number of readers and I feel as though that is good proof that it is worth investing in.
