we are coming along both with the code, content and design.. we we'll have a prototype to show at least for one stage of life in our journey, well in the average eve's journey:-) we are struggling a bit with figuring out how to present the different charts that makes the additional layer of content.. but we're getting there...

@michalassif that's good to know. As I mentioned to @polinekes a storyboard & wireframe of the product you're building would help us to better understand and guide you. What the Pensya group did here is a good example:

@mushon I was wondering if something like this can be reasonable and appropriate for us..something like this (and other charts, according to the story) will come out in hover on certain elements of the illustration. we're trying to figure out what chart can or can't go with what content...

In this example we're talking about the most common names for boys..

Hi @michalassif (& @polinekes), you're trying to communicate comparative data through this kind of circled lines charts, why? This is quite confusing…Noam and Uri end at the same angle though Noam's line is shorter than Uri's. Moreover, the data that you would have (quantitative ratio) for the 4 most popular names would probably not show such huge gaps and would make the lines look more or less the same. I think you can probably find better chart options for the task, that would still be aesthetically pleasing and would still honestly visualize the data. no?

@mushon כן. אני פשוט מנסה להמנע קצת מהניראות הבנאלית של גרף עמודות. מבינה שזה מבלבל ולא מתאים לסוג תוכן הזה. לגבי התוכן עצמו, כמובן שלא התכנסנו לשם בחירת שם נפוץ לילד, זהו רק ספתח שחשבנו שיהיה נחמד לתת שמות (נועם ונועה) לדמויות שלנו ועל הדרך להציף דאטה של שמות נפוצים, שזה משהו שמשום מה תמיד מרתק אנשים:)
כמובן שאין כאן איזו ביקורת מגדרית אבל בעיני הקירבה בין נועה לנועם מעניינת אם זה מה שהכי הרבה אנשים בחרו לקרוא לילד שלהם בשנים האחרונות... או לפי חלוקה של עשורים מאז קום המדינה (שזה גם רשימה שיש לנו:)

Hey there @shenkarlab/averageeve, @akariv will be coming on Sunday and will be able to sit and instruct the tech teams. If you want his help you will need to describe the issues at hand in details. Only the issues that are ready, detailed, refer to specific code, examples and all will be addressed first. We will not have time to waste on half-baked questions so if you want Adam's help you need to prepare yourselves towards it, and if you don't need any technical help at this point, that's also fine. In case you want to meet Adam, make a detailed tickets (or more than one) and assign them to @akariv for feedback. He will choose who to sit with and who not to based on the details and depth of your questions. Good luck!

I am working on live mock up which shows the animations and transitions between the illustrations layers and Data layer - the boys are working on it and try to reach as many achievements as they can on Sunday, of course we are happy to help if needed

i will upload the mockup videos in 2 hours or so

• you don't have to do exactly the same transitions ... (but stay in the area)
• pls, till sunday morning make a list of thing you can't or don't know how to do for akariv (if needed,of course ). it's our opportunity to resolve things

I have a few mistakes while narrating , it's not smooth ... but humor me... :)
