What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.if in prerequisites i have all success is all ok?
2.i already have tun.ko in kernel has your software recognised this
3.how to edit config file/how to put in pass/username in openvpn config

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
i dont know what i should be seeing

What version of the product are you using?

your latest version
Which Android phone are you using?
sgs GT i9000

Which firmware version are you using?
ICS 4.0.4 Darknight 5.5

Please provide any additional information below.

kernel 3.1.10+ Devil 2_.0.72 WITH TUN.KO system/lib/modules
what parameters do i have to set in edit con file for each vpn.
many thanks
i noticed that a lot of tutorials on the web are using the older version of vpn
settings with the option to load the Tun.ko with insmod i presume this is not
needed in your latest version.

appreciate your work cheers

Newer versions of OpenVPN Settings use always insmod to load the tun module.

On your device, is there a file /system/lib/modules/tun.ko or
/system/lib/modules/TUN.KO? Case matters.

It should be found and loaded automatically.
If not, please attach the output of 'adb logcat'.
