Request newer models: Purifier Hot + Cool 2021 #130

Hello,

First of all, thank you for the working local integration. My two HP04's are now FINALLY in Hass. Would it be possible to update the database for the newer models too please? The one missing for me is Purifier Hot + Cool 2021 (HP07 i believe).

Hey, Where did you find the WiFi SSID+password on these new models ? I can't find them and add them in hass :/

I have a HP07 and it also does not have the wifi and PW sticker. Sadly the cloud connection returns an error after entering my login email address.

the way I did is was us an app called Packet Capture on Android and tell it to capture the Dyson app. Open the dyson app, and use it for a few minutes. Eventually you will receive data files that contains all the information you need such as serial number and credentials. Email it to yourself and just copy paste those long codes. It will be "serial-number"X"credentials" The serial number and credentials are sepearated by the X. Do no include the X. This seems to only work for Android phones.

I managed to get the data with https://github.com/shenxn/libdyson/blob/main/get_devices.py but I had to remove the device from my app, re-add it and then logout. But seems to work for now :thinking:
