Same issue for me too

I have the same issue .... I first installed dyson local and that worked but I could not figure out the answers to the questions - On wifi method I have no idea what the ssid was ... the linked document that where the idea came from said that the ssid / wifi password were only on the older devices. On the manual method I know the serial but have no idea what the Credential was.

I then read I could install dyson cloud to do the config but when I installed that I got the error mentioned above. I went back to local to try and add the integration and got the same error there where it had previously popped the method prompt. I guess the cloud install brought something down that screwed up local. I removed both and reinstalled local and was back to getting the method prompt but still have no idea what the answers to the questions are .... ho hum

I saw in the readme so step that involved running a python script to get the answers but, although I managed to install python on my PC, running the suggested script is beyond my skill without more detailed guidance. Looks like I need to go to python school.

there is an open ticket for this on the cloud integration, but I have seen no movement or communication from developers, Is anyone here working on this?
