Dyson Local - WiFi Info? #141

I've had the Dyson Cloud and Local set up for some time and it was working fine until the last few months when it just decided it wouldn't connect anymore. So I deleted the Dyson Local device and am now trying to reconnect it. Things have changed since I last set it up, however: In the (vague) instructions it tells me I am supposed to be looking for a WiFi SSID and a password sticker on my device. The ONLY thing on my device is a serial number sticker which is the same info that is already in the Dyson Android App. So that doesn't seem to be helpful to me. The only other sticker on the device is a "Contact Us" sticker with Dysons phone number on it.

I no longer have a manual for it, but I don't remember seeing anything in that years ago either.

What other choices do I have to get this thing working again?

Same here. When I used Homebridge before moving to Home Assistant, Dyson setup was super simple... I just provided serial and IP address, and it worked without anything else. I have no idea how to get "credential" and my device has no wifi password sticker anywhere.

+1. Same here. I'm using a PH04 device...

So I wasn't blind when I tried to find wifi credentials for my HP09. Funny thing is that it needs them to "calculate" serial which is actually sticked on the device. 🤣

I have a hp09 and had the same issue. Ended up using Dyson local python script to generate the credentials.
