In the meantime I found out, that this issue only occurs when I am logged in with my Dyson Link app. There seems to be a bigger issue once you are connected to your Dyson Account in two ways - Dyson Link app and Home Assistant.
@erd82 and others, the reason for this is (if you're in Auto fan mode) there's an air quality target and if that target is met oscillation will be paused while still being "enabled".
If you switch off auto in the app and set a constant fan speed it should un-pause oscillation, and then you can do whatever you want in HA without the app settings overriding it.
Hi,
I could successfully integrate my Dyson Purifier Cool Formaldehyde (TP09). I can control almost everything.
The oscillation switched worked at the beginning (the fan began to turn). But after a short time (mostly after changing fan speed), the oscillation switch did not trigger the device anymore.
If I am using the remote instead the fan perfectly reacts.
What can I do to reliably get the oscillation switch working?
