Integration becomes unavailable #157

Several times my Dyson integration (Dyson Cloud and Dyson Local) suddenly became unavailable.

My experience:

  1. I tried to restart Home Assistant which did not work.
  2. Then I logged of from the Dyson Link mobile app.
  3. After restarting again, the Dyson integration worked again.

With the "Unknown Error Occurred" issue (https://github.com/shenxn/ha-dyson/issues/99) we learned that you have to log out from the mobile app in order to register your Dyson Cloud in Home Assistant.

Conclusion: Could it be that Dyson allows only one connection / device at the same time? As soon as you have connected with home assistant and your Dyson Link mobile app at the same time, one connection (probably not Dyson Link) will fail.

Do you agree? Can anyone confirm?

I would expect that if this were the case it would not have allowed you to log back into your phone app if you were already connected via dyson cloud on HA but I don't know if the HA connection is persistent. Having seen the conflict during install i removed the HA dyson cloud integration once i had set up the HA dyson local integration as i could not see a need for both in HA. I looked at the history for my device and have not had any disconnects since 5th Aug (which is as far back as the history goes)

Ok, thanks for the ideas.

Finally it doesn't solve the problems and the integration regularly becomes unavailable.

Is there any idea how to fix it on the long run?

BTW: I have tested it several times now and over a few days... Only if I am logged into the Dyson Link app, the integration becomes unavailable. And even restarting Home Assistant does not help. Once I am logged out from Dyson Link app, the integration gets available again. Also the oscillation issue (https://github.com/shenxn/ha-dyson/issues/155) is affected once I am logged in the Dyson Link app.

Still the same issue here. Is there anyone who has the same issues? If not, how did you connect your Dyson Purifier *? Feel free to share your experience. Thanks & kind regards

I'm still having the disconnection issues with Dyson, but for me, only after HA updates. I re-download Dyson Local, restart HA and all works again until after the next HA update.
