Hey! Sorry for the late response, so much to do!
I want to improve accessibility (long way to go!) so I'm very interested in this, but I also have a lot to learn so I'd really appreciate it if you could give me more details here!
Is the main issue the fact that post titles and comments use too different of font sizes so just using Ctrl-+
to zoom the page with your browser isn't a good solution?
No worries, I can see how busy you've been and it's not really a high priority imo. The browser zoom function helps a little but I think it would be better to have more fine grain controls over the sizes like some of the other clients do. Liftoff for example has a very good implementation showing how changes affect each element.
The ability to hide some of the elements (avatars, labels, icons, instances, etc) would go even further to help create a more streamlined interface.
None of these issues get in the way of using alexandrite as is. They're just little things that I've found helpful in other clients.
I think allowing for adjustable font sizes and types would make the interface a little easier to use, especially for those of us with imperfect vision. Also it feels like the difference between the post title and comment font sizes is a little too large.
Thanks for this great alternative lemmy interface.
