Find and filter serves similar purposes

Find and feature seems to serve very similar purposes in terms of filtering the displayed list given keywords. For example, find uses foreign phrase and english phrase to filter flash cards but filter uses the language words to filter flash cards.

Instead, this could be combined into a single command for the user.

Team's Response

Find and filter were implemented as separate commands as a design decision. They serve different purposes:

• Find searches for flashcards loaded in the entire app. i.e whatever is saved in the JSON data file.
• Filter narrows down the number of flashcards on the displayed flashcard list as it only applies to the flashcards currently shown in the displayed flashcard list.

This difference is highlighted in each of the commands in the UG:
