Source download pdf2image-0.49.tar.gz has corrupted aconf.h, will not compile on Ubuntu #1

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Download file.
2. Extract files
3. Attempt compile

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expect to compile, instead aconf.h is full of binary data.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Download pdf2image-0.49.tar.gz, Ubuntu 10.10
