developing web come through a problem?????

when I develop the bbb-web,I change some files,and compile it.and then showing 
following information:

and then all this information
until input the ctrl+c,stop the process! 
then I input "grails war",generate the new bigbluebutton.war.
but the new bigbluebutton.war is only 30M,the normal bigbluebutton.war is 34M.
So,when I move the new bigbluebutton.war /var/lib/tomcat6/webapps/,the bbb 
system is wrong!

I don't know  where is the problem,but I'm sure the code is correct.
help me,Thank you!

Hi there,

Are you using code tagged for release of BigBlueButton 0.80 or Master 
(0.81-dev)?

We've not released 0.81-beta, so Master may not be stable.  We recommend you 
use the release tagged with 0.80 until then.

Hi，dear
    I have tried almost all the bigblutbutton's sources,but have the same problem.My steps are simple.
1.change the bbb-web's presentation source.
2.compile the bbb-web.
bbb-conf --setup-dev web,cd 
/home/firstuser/dev/bigbluebutton/bigbluebutton-web,gradle resolveDeps,grails 
-Dserver.port=8888 run-app,grails war,
3.move the new bigbluebutton.war /var/lib/tomat6/webapps/

and I access the IP address.
I can log in the bbb system,but the presentation have an exception.
1.It is home page disappeared
2.presentation's default title changed,it changes from "default" to chinese 
"幻灯片放映.
3.when I upload the files,it can't be converted.Stuck in the process of 
generating thumbnail.

then I think the changed source is worry,so I recover the souce,compie,the 
output is the same.
That's surprise to me.

Hi there,

Are you sure your following the steps in

  http://code.google.com/p/bigbluebutton/wiki/DevelopingBBB

and checking out the release tagged for '0.8'.  Recommend you start with a new 
BigBlueButton install, or BigBlueButton VM, and confirm first that it works.

Also, there is an issue with support for Chinese characters in the file name.

   can you tell me the steps which complie the bbb-web?  the following is my steps:
 when I change the bbb-web's source,I input

 bbb-conf --setup-dev web
then input

cd /home/firstuser/dev/bigbluebutton/bigbluebutton-web/

then input

gradle resolveDeps

then input

grails -Dserver.port=8888 run-app

then input

grails war

then rename the new generated war file to bigbluebutton.war

then move the bigbluebutton.war to /var/lib/toncat6/webapps/

that'all
