Bigbluebutton offline, updates and php-fpm

Hello,

I just installed bigbluebutton and tried the demo api and it gives me a: "The 
page you are looking for is temporarily unavailable, Please try again later". 
Why is this? 

Then, is it possible to run BigblueButton only on a LAN without being open to 
the internet? because when i do bbb-conf --check it gives me: 
# Error: Could not connect to the configured hostname/IP address

I have my local DNS pointing test.com to this internal server.

Another question is, when is the BigBlueButton v1.0 coming? Because the problem 
with v0.8 is that packages like php-fpm are not in the repro.

I saw the recommended specs for the server if you want to use about 50 users. 
Is it limited to 50 users if I get a bigger server or with more sever capacity 
i will be able to host more users?

This is not a good issue report as (a) it is question about setup of 
BigBlueButton, and (b) there are multiple questions.
