Be able to swipe up/down to display other homes (other than the ones available
with horizontal swipes. This would create a bit of the cross-media bar found in
the Sony products (TV, PSP, PS3). More discussion could be brought such as
whether these vertical desktops should only be available on specific screens.
This would fulfill the following use-case: I have a screen dedicated to a 4x4
news widget. I would like to have another layer of news widgets ( another 4x2
widget for example). I don't want to especially configure another desktop
resolution for my desktop, but I'd rather like to swipe up or down to navigate
through these news widgets...
Attach mock-ups/screenshots if you can.
The UI feel actually mimicks a home replacement concept where there are 4
desktops, each one was shown upon a swipe up, down, left or right. This change
request actually would use this concept of vertical desktops.
Please provide any additional information below.
For the conflict with scrolling Widgets, plenty of workarounds could be
envisioned.
