It appears that the ticket system will fail if you search for bug reports using certain words.

Some of the words that cause the search function to blow up are first, test, error, search, reset, and password

Some of the error messages were:

Trac detected an internal error: OperationalError: Could not decode to UTF-8 column 'text' with text '= The Trac Ticket System = [[TracGuideToc]] The Trac ticket database provides simple but effective tracking of issues and bugs within a project.

There was an internal error in Trac. It is recommended that you notify your local Trac administrator with the information needed to reproduce the issue.

To that end, you could a ticket.

The action that triggered the error was:

GET: /search

Trac comment by arisia on 2013-09-23 23:21:39:

It looks like the search terms that fail are keywords.

It's been like this for a year or more.

This is now moot as we're no longer on trac.
