Difficult to add RSS URL to feed readers like Liferea #168

Steps to reproduce

  1. Install in Firefox
  2. Navigate to a site with an RSS feed.
  3. Click the Awesome RSS icon.
  4. optional: in Firefox set the rss+xml file association to "always ask" or to a feed reader

Expected behavior

Feed URL should be added to Liferea or feed URL should be copied.

Actual behavior

If you did step 4: The downloaded XML file is added to Liferea. Not practically possible to undo the preference change. No way to manually copy URL.

If you did not: You get XML blasted in your face and have to know to copy the URL and paste it into the feed reader.

ps.: Hey, I'd love not having to post this on GitHub. Any plans on moving to something less bad?
