Hi Shibathethinker. I have reviewed your presentation and notes on the functionality of Chimera and it looks excellent. I am excited to get it working and try some of the great functionality you built into it. Unfortunately I am getting this error when I try to open the solution.

C:\Users...\Downloads\ChimeraCRM-master\OnLine\OnLine\OnLine.csproj : error : The imported project "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio\2017\Professional\MSBuild\Microsoft\VisualStudio\v10.0\WebApplications\Microsoft.WebApplication.targets" was not found. Also, tried to find "Microsoft\VisualStudio\v10.0\WebApplications\Microsoft.WebApplication.targets" in the fallback search path(s) for $(MSBuildExtensionsPath32) - "C:\Program Files (x86)\MSBuild" . These search paths are defined in "C:\Users...\AppData\Local\Microsoft\VisualStudio\15.0_6f8d28b2\devenv.exe.config". Confirm that the path in the declaration is correct, and that the file exists on disk in one of the search paths. C:\Users...\Downloads\ChimeraCRM-master\OnLine\OnLine\OnLine.csproj

I am currently working to see if I can find a solution. Let me know if you have any ideas. Thanks for all the work you put into this project.

Hank, Maybe its because you are using a higher version of VS than I had. I had it edited on VS 2010 and VS 2015. If you can download and use VS 2015 community edition, you might be able to open it.

Otherwise, you can edit the file (using notepad) - OnLine.sln and update it with your VS version.

Also, if you are having trouble replicating the project, I will suggest you download the source code instead of a replication. Let me know how it goes.

Thanks

Hi Shibasis,

So far I have come across to possible causes of the problem. VS builder not installed (which I do have installed, but the VS 2017 version) and incompatibility with VS 2010 (but it looks like you used a much newer version than this from what I can tell).

Still working if either of these are correct and if so what the fix would be.

Which version of VS did you use to build this sweet software?

Thanks, Hank

I used VS2010 to build this. This was also tested on VS 2015 community edition.
