Android will only load the nav screen and then freeze/stop #114

Our only main non-starter for some people now seems to be this: upon startup, they see black and the navigation numbers & arrows, but then nothing else. See spreadsheet for details.

Seems like a phone issue. Worst case, it's the device/version and we can't do anything about it.

The info from 3 people:

  1. Droid 3 - 2.3.4
  2. Droid Bionic - 2.3.4
  3. Droid 3 - 2.3.4

I changed an event listener that should make it perform better on older phones, so let's see if it fixes it (it probably won't but worth a try).

Thanks, Rowan. Is there a new apk for this, or should we wait? How do you want us to test it?

Yeah, the new apk has some small changes that may fix it. Probably just the hardware but essentially, I am having the device wait much longer before enabling the cordova stuff so hopefully that was the issue on older phones.
