I am having the exact problem as above. Please note that when using Vista
Ultimate
64bit, I did have to install as administrator, and all was fine. However, when
using
Windows XP SVC PK3, the iPhone is not detected.

Same issue here with Windows XP Professionnal SP3. iPhone detected by iTunes
but not
by iPhoneBrowser. I tried unpluging, repluging the software doesn't seem to
realise I
did something... My version of iPhoneBrowser is 1.9.1 and iTunes 8.2.1.6.
Anybody help?

I'm windown Windows XP Home SP3. I tried uninstalling and the re-installing.
No
dice. iPhone Browser starts up, but won't see my phone. I have no problem with

I was having a similar problem with v 1.9.1 however I was also getting a
"program
encountered a problem" error.
most current version of iPhone OS (3.1.2, jailbroken), and iTunes. WinXP SP2.
i updated to the new BETA iPhone browser and the problem disappeared. not sure
exactly what changed between the two versions but glad it's working again. this
app
is indispensable IMHO

I had these issues, installing uninstalling and the like, until I when and
dragged to
the trash, not the uninstall and then installed the latest iphone browser. I
have a
theory that the uninstall and the repair aren't actually doing anything while
the old
folder is still in the programs folder. give it a shot

I was having the same problem. I installed the 1.9.1 at first. It didn't work
so I
uninstalled the 1.9.1 and installed 1.9.3.
I think uninstall the old version is important.

Following edwardzbrown's suggestion worked for me.
-In Windows 7, delete the entire folder ( located at C:\Program
Files\iPhoneBrowser )
-Run the iPhoneBrowser v1.9.3 installer, and select the "repair" option.
