Can you try installing iPhoneBrowser to your C: drive to see if that makes a
difference? It looks like you installed to D:?

i have it installed on my C drive. I start iPhoneBrowser with phone
disconnected and
when I connect the phone it immediately traps out. I have iphone 2.1/itunes 8.

Please try v1.81.
For some reason the error log shows your installation as D:?

1.8.1 Works for me! I installed it in my default D: drive.
I did notice I have two older copies of iPhone Browser installed and I
uninstalled
those first before installing the new iPhone browser. I also made sure I used
a new
folder for the temporariy installer files.

Well, it may still have problems (see issue 52) but hopefully I will release
v1.9
with a proper fix one way or another...
