As of February 1, 2021, JCenter will go offline,

It is required to update to RN 0.65 and Change jcenter to mavenCentral

@MiguelAngelVM just an FYI: jcenter should not be turned off on Feb 1, 2022. (see update). It will not be possible for react-native-qr-scanner to push new versions until it moves to another repository — but it hasn't pushed new versions since 2018.
