Thanks @vitorgalvao, however, that won't download the original source video file, it's just the recompressed mp4.
Ah, you’re right. Was under the impression the best quality (default) would do it.
Okay! NOC 8.1 through 8.5, and 9.1 completed.
Working on chapter 5 NOC today. edit: done!
I have uploaded all the videos for Chapter 6 NOC now.
Thanks everyone, I'm checking them off as I see them come in. Amazing!
@shiffman Instead of downloading videos locally, probably it would be better to create a stream from Vimeo to YouTube and pipe the data.
...probably I'm late to this party.
@IonicaBizau yes indeed, an excellent point! Still I like the idea of something modular where you can pull / push from multiple sources. And I would like to have my own local backup of all these files anyway!
Tried uploading 4.9, but it kept stopping. Is the dropbox full or something?
I've just uploaded the Nature of Code 4.4 to 4.9 today. If everything is ok on the other end, feel free to tick them off the list :)
@orgicus yup, i see them, thank you!
I need a favor! I'm trying to download all of my videos off vimeo (using the code in this repo), but the API only lets me do it with a PRO account (I have a PLUS). Nonetheless, they can all be downloaded manually! If you have a spare minute, download one of the files below and then upload it to dropbox via the "file request" link. I just realized that the numbers don't match up so please rename the file with the number as well, i.e...
is the video for "0.3 ICM: What is Programming" so rename to:
I'm updating the list below as files come in.
Oh, and please download the "original" file as seen below!
you must be logged into vimeo in order to see the "original" option
