@codebycliff, @mgerst, and I have been thinking of just having a token hardcoded in the firmware. This is probably the only solution, and will have some unsolvable faults, but it's better than leaving it open.

Note to self: figure out how to pass the token to the firmware without hardcoding it into the repo.
