[FORVO downloader] Not working after Forvo site update #32

While trying to use this add-on (and afterwards the original as well), I noticed that nothing was working properly. I went on the website and noticed they have implemented a Cloudflare human verification now, which neither add-on can bypass. image

Sorry for bothering you instead of the original author with this but, as pointed out on https://github.com/shigeyukey/my_addons/issues/24, your version fetches all the audio samples. Is there any solution to this? Because it seems like not much can be done.

Hello, it seems that the issue was fixed as Forvo stopped implementing the verification, but after updating the add-on, both playing and downloading audio return an error again. I am not sure if this is because of the update itself or it is caused by Forvo again. Could you please point towards a downgraded option to further test this?

They are the same, so I think it is a Forvo issue.

I don't know why, but so far it seems to be working fine. If it is broken again, I will look into it.

It seems like it has been broken again since around July 24th with no signs of working. There is no human verification anymore, so the problem might be unrelated. Unfortunately, I do not have any other relevant information.
