Welcome to IGRINS RV, a open source pipeline for extracting radial velocity (RV) for the Immersion GRating INfrared Spectrometer (IGRINS) instrument. Please contact asa.stahl@rice.edu or sytang@lowell.edu for more detail.
Current action items for the continued development of IGRINS RV:
Exploring more flexible and precise ways of generating stellar templates, particularly for very cool or young stars, to achieve better precisions
Removing patch for plp flux dip once the reduction pipeline is updated
Finding a way to make Telfit give identical results on different operating systems
Exploring other optimization routines that could reduce runtime
Gauging what IGRINS RV functionalities users would like to easily be able to call without using the command line, if any, and provide them accordingly
Extending IGRINS RV to work on iSHELL K band data (requires additional iSHELL data on RV standards and known planet hosts)
Trying adding the ability to calculate bisector spans from telluric-corrected data
If you have questions, comments, suggestions, and/or data you'd like to provide toward any of these efforts, or have other ideas for how IGRINS RV could be improved, please feel free to respond below.
