@hate-m-dollarsign, thanks a bunch. I'll test this out today; I like the screenshots so far. I might give AWF a try in order to test it. Off the top of my head I can't think of any common gtk3 applications that use colored buttons. (I think I've seen some in Qt applications, but these tend to imitate my system's gtk2 theme, not the gtk3 theme.)
Current Bluebird theme (without your changes):
WIth your revisions:
gtk2 theme (with a few different widgets, because gtk3 supports a slightly different set of widgets):
I like your tweaks, I can see how they look closer to the gtk2 theme, and I will merge them shortly.
@ddelabru by the way, the theme doesn't look nearly that blue if used in GNOME Shell. I'm specifically referring to the titlebars and headerbars. Let me know if you want to me file a separate bug for this issue.
@jbicha Please do open an issue, and if you can, share screenshots. I'm not a regular GNOME Shell user myself but I'll have a look.
Hi guys, I made a few edits to improve (imho) the look of the theme and bring it a bit closer to it's past glory ;)

(The blue button-hover effect is not yet included in this PR, it may make colored buttons look odd, I couldn't test that. Any tips on what app has colored buttons?)
