Hi， don't worry..:) I am still mainly using the jekyll extension as my main tool for blogging, and the mentioned VIM part, is just for some limited situation where I only have CLI linux env I can't use web browser so conveniently ; Honestly, the Jekyll extension till now is still best way to blog in github page (at least in my mind)....
