Feedback for “Center Box” #35

Hey, I have two questions regarding the creation of solids (eg box).

1. Creating a box with dimensions

  1. Press shift + B to create a box
  2. Click to set the start position
  3. Press tab to switch to properties
  4. Enter width, length, height
  5. Press enter > nothing happens but I expect it to create the box with those dimensions
  6. Click within the viewport > sets width and length
  7. Press tab to switch to properties
  8. Press enter > nothing happens
  9. Move cursor in the viewport
  10. Press tab to switch to properties
  11. Enter height again
  12. Press enter (twice) > creates box as expected

2. Creating a solid on top of another solid

Is there any way to create a solid on top of another solid without causing a boolean? The only work arounds are to create a solid in open space and then move it into position, or to create a box from curves. But it seems like an odd amount of work for a seemingly common need?

Thank you and overall, incredible work on the software!
