When in battle, there is a lot of information that is scrolling by relatively quickly. We should add color to the text to add clarity. For instance, any damage your character takes should show up as red, where any damage your character does to your opponent could be yellow. Then when you see a yellow "Critical Hit: 12!" you will think "awesome!" but if you see a red "Critical Hit: 12!" you will think "Oh Noes!" This is much better than when you catch a glimpse of "Critical Hit: 12!" and you think "wait, wha? oh, wait, now what happened? shit, am I.. No, I... huh?"
