Door before AT ST battle in mission 19 won't open! #259

When i get into the room before the room with the at st, the first door closes behind me but he second door doesn't open at all. If have pressed the buttons near thes dors many times. Nothing. I have checked videos on youtube to check. Nothing. Maybe I can try no-clipping, but this is an annoying bug that should be fixed. If this is not a bug and I am missing something, please tell me.

I can confirm this is a game progression breaking bug. I reproduced it by starting a fresh game and level skipping to 19 fighting to the end of the level. The AT-ST was aware of my presence on the other side of the door. Walking through the open trap door triggered a door closing or opening sound, but no physical action was taken. Walking out and back into the trap closed the door behind me, but the trap in front of me remained closed.

Additionally, the door that closes behind the player is available to open again.

The trap room in question is this one.

Expected behavior:

The player enters the trap, door behind the player closes, door in front of the player opens revealing an AT-ST miniboss fight.

Current behavior:

The player enters the trap and the door in front of the player never opens, preventing progression.

It seems to me that it takes time for it to open.

I thought i had the same issue at first, so I turned back and tried some cheats out of curiosity before warping to the next level and then SURPRISE, something was shooting at my back and the door was magically open.

Saw the same issue - rectified by saving next to the door and then immediately reloading.
